Regulations
Before you start, a few rules
A practical guide to making the most of your time at Savoy.
01
How enrolment works
- Your enrolment is confirmed once the fee has been paid.
- Fees are non-refundable, except in exceptional cases agreed directly with the school.
- You can suspend your course in the event of a documented injury.
02
Attendance and catching up
- Regular attendance is recommended to make steady progress.
- Missed lessons are not refunded, but can be caught up at another venue or a compatible time, subject to availability.
- For prolonged absences, please let the school know.
03
Sharing the space well
- Please be respectful towards teachers and fellow students.
- Clean shoes or socks are required on all our dance floors.
- Food and drink are not allowed in the room, with the exception of water.
- Please arrive on time: frequent lateness disrupts the lesson.
04
Moving up to the next level
- Moving up a level happens on the teachers' recommendation.
- You cannot enrol yourself in a higher level without an assessment.
- If you are unsure about your level, you can ask for a trial lesson.
05
Photos, video and privacy
- During lessons and events, Savoy may take photos and shoot video.
- If you would rather not be filmed, you can tell the teachers at any time.
- Content produced by the school may be published on our social channels and website.
06
Looking after the venues
- Students are expected to keep the spaces tidy.
- Any damage to the spaces or equipment must be reported immediately.
- Access to the venues is only allowed during lesson times.
